Introduction

Gerdeng Temple, also known as Langmu Temple, is a temple located in Sichuan Province, China. With a history of over 300 years, it still preserves the physical body of the fifth Gerdeng Living Buddha, which can be viewed up close. The temple is mostly topped with silver, and is relatively simple, mingling with the local houses. It is situated in a low-lying area, behind which is the Namo Gorge and the source of the Bailong River. From 13:00-3:00 and 17:30-21:00, the temple holds Debating Scripture, and it is believed that many people come to visit during this time.

1. There are shuttle buses from Xiahe, Linxia, Hezuo, Maqu and other places directly to Langmu Temple. The fare from Xiahe to Langmu Temple is 71.5 yuan/person, with one bus at 6:40 and 7:40 every day, and occasional changes in the low season. It costs about 500 yuan to charter a bus from Xiahe to Langmu Temple via Sangke Grassland and Gahai Lake, and about 100 yuan to charter a bus from Gahai Lake to Langmu Temple. 2. There is no direct bus from Lanzhou to Langmu Temple, usually transferring at Hezuo, where the fare is 42 yuan/person. At the Hezuo Bus Terminal, you can transfer to a bus to Langmu Temple. The ticket from Hezuo to Langmu Temple is 50 yuan/person, with three buses at 6:30, 7:20, and 12:00 daily. You can also take the Lanzhou-Diebu bus from Lanzhou Bus South Station, get off at the bridge near Langmu Temple, and then walk about 3 kilometers to reach there.
