Introduction

Zhouzi Ancient Town is known as the last dock ancient town on the Jialing River. The hundred-year-old ancient street, about 1000 meters in length, is connected by more than 3000 well-preserved courtyard houses from the Qing Dynasty. It also has well-preserved ancient architectural sites such as Lianxi Temple, Wanshou Palace, Wusheng Palace, Huajiang Tower, and Yanxian Temple. Zhouzi Ancient Town flourished during the Tang and Song Dynasties and has accumulated a rich and unique dock ancient town culture for thousands of years.

Transportation

It takes half an hour by train from Nanchong to Peng'an. There are 6 freight trains departing from Nanchong Railway Station every day with a ticket price of 5.5 yuan. After exiting the station, take bus No. 1 to the end point and you will see the first Jialing Silkworm Mulberry Archway. Walking eastwards along the Jialing River, you will enter the Zhouzi Ancient Town when you reach the Caishen Building.
