Introduction

Chengxian Street is an east-west alley located in the Andingmen area of Dongcheng District, Beijing. It is one of the few ancient streets in Beijing that has preserved the history of old Beijing streets, such as the towering archway, the old locust trees lining the road, and the shade of ancient houses. Chengxian Street has four complete archways, with magnificent golden decorations. In addition, it also preserves ancient relics like Shangma Stone, making it one of the best walking streets in Beijing.
