Introduction
Meizi Lake Park is located on the Meizi River in the southeast of Simao City. Originally a reservoir, it was transformed into a park in 1982 and named after the man-made lake created by damming the Meizi River. Meizi Lake is about 3.2 kilometers long, with a water area of about 600 acres and a storage capacity of about 6.6 million cubic meters, with an average depth of about 15 meters. At the entrance of the park, there is a grandiose water intake conduit. The park also has small zoos and fish ponds. As you come to the gatehouse, you can see the words "Meizi Lake Park," and a couplet hanging on the door that reads "To quench thirst while looking at the plum blossoms, to cool yourself in the lake," which indicates that Meizi Lake Park is a good place to enjoy the plum blossoms and avoid the summer heat. You can row boats, fish, and enjoy the verdant mountains and beautiful scenery along the way. Address Mei Yuan Road, Nanping Town, Simao District, Pu'er City, Yunnan Province
