Introduction

"China-Myanmar Friendship Street", also known as "China-Myanmar Street", is approximately 1.5 kilometers long and is located on both sides of boundary markers 81-1, 81-2, 82, and 83. The central part of China-Myanmar Street is the border crossing, known as "China-Myanmar Friendship Street" in China and "White Elephant Street" in Myanmar. It is an international commercial street, displaying various jewelry, jade, cosmetics, teak carvings, wild mushrooms and delicacies from the Bay of Bengal and tropical fruits. At night, China-Myanmar Street is even livelier, with bright lights and neon signs. Various food stalls along the street attract customers, including local specialties such as Burmese coffee, milk tea, shark fin pastries, lemon tea, and Jingpo barbecue, each with a unique and delicious flavor.
