Introduction
In front of the Drunken Weng Pavilion, next to it is a spring that has been built into a square pool with stones. The pool is only three feet wide and about two feet deep. Whenever water is poured into the pool, it flows into the mountain stream. Above the pool, there is an inscription on a stone tablet that reads "Rangquan," which was erected by Governor Wang Cikui in the 40th year of the Qing Dynasty's Kangxi reign. Due to the almost constant temperature of the water, which remains at around 17-18 degrees Celsius every year, Rangquan is also known as the "Glass Spring." The spring water is clean, sweet, and refreshing, crystal clear, like a perfect combination of nectar and glass.
