Introduction

Located in Zhen'an County, Shangluo City, Shaanxi Province, Muwang National Forest Park is situated on the middle section of the southern slope of Qinling Mountains, in close contact with nature. As a forest ecological tourist destination integrating recreation, sightseeing, leisure vacation, scientific research, science education, and special forest product production, the park covers a total area of 3,616 hectares, with a minimum altitude of 1,350 meters and a maximum altitude of 2,601.6 meters. The forest coverage rate is as high as 98.3%, and the concentration of negative oxygen ions in the air reaches 50,000/m3. There are more than 1,300 species of seed plants, including more than 30 national protected tree species, such as Chinese fir, Cercis chinensis, Cyclobalanopsis glauca, and Qingling fir. In addition, there are more than 200 species of wild animals living in the park, including more than 10 national protected animal species, such as Tibetan antelope, clouded leopard, golden eagle, black bear, and Chinese giant salamander. The park is also a potential habitat for giant pandas and is known as the "world of plants and kingdom of animals".
