Introduction
Lingshan, located 44 kilometers southwest of the county seat of Luoshan County, faces the famous summer resort Jigongshan. In the past, Lingshan was called Bashan because its mountaintop was often shrouded in clouds, causing rain. This phenomenon was widely believed and thus it was renamed Lingshan. Lingshan covers an area of 40 square kilometers and its main peak, Jinding, reaches a height of 827.7 meters, making it the second highest peak in Luoshan County.
