Wengding Village is quaint and mysterious

Introduction

Wengding Village is located in the central-western part of Cangyuan County. The name of the village means "a place surrounded by clouds and mist". The center of the village is Wengding Dazhai, which has 97 households and more than 500 people, all of whom are Wa ethnic group. With a history of nearly 400 years, Yang's family was the first to build the village, so members of the Yang clan have inherited the hereditary position of the village head. Wengding Dazhai consists of buildings such as the village gate, residential houses, village poles, and sacred groves.
