Introduction

During the Ming Dynasty, Qi Jiguang fought against Japanese pirates on the Great Wall in Jiangnan. Historical relics such as wengcheng, ditai, chenglou, and tiantan are preserved in the scenic area. Records indicate that the hollow ditai in the Great Wall of the north was developed from the ditai in the Lihai Great Wall, which also makes the Lihai Great Wall closely connected to the Great Wall in the north, known as the "Jiangnan Badaling".
