Introduction
Because from a distance it resembles a traditional Chinese landscape painting, Qianmijia Cliffs got its name from its long gallery of painted walls. The cliffs are steep and in some places form cliff houses, while in other places they are uneven and densely packed with honeycomb-like caves. Some areas are smooth and flat, resembling terraced fields. Impurities and climbing plants adorn the cliff walls with colorful patches, like a huge mural depicting the vicissitudes of the ancient land.
