Introduction
The Yan Emperor and Shennong Hometown Scenic Area is located in Lishan Town, Zengdu District, Hubei Province, 18 kilometers northwest of Suizhou City, between the 316 National Highway and the Handan Railway. The scenic area is known as the center of tourist attractions such as the Dahongshan scenic area, the Bianzhong Memorial Hall, and the Fengjiangkou tourist area. It is located between Wuhan City and Xiangfan City and is a must-see on the way to the San Guo Gulongzhong and the Wudang Mountain Taoist holy site. The scenic area has multiple cultural and natural landscapes, including scenic spots, statues, springs, caves, temples, halls, flagpoles, and lakes, totaling more than 20. The Yan Emperor and Shennong Hometown Scenic Area is classified as a national 4A-level scenic spot and a national scenic spot and is rated as the "Patriotic Education Base of Hubei Province" by the Propaganda Department of the Hubei Provincial Party Committee. Every year, on the 26th of April of the lunar calendar, thousands of tourists from home and abroad come to Lishan to pay homage to the Yan Emperor and Shennong and commemorate the ancestor of China, celebrating the Yan Emperor's birthday. The scenic area has become a holy land for Yanhuang descendants from home and abroad to explore their roots and has become an important base for the study of Yanhuang culture. In addition, there are some tourist tips in the scenic area, such as entering in order of ticket inspection, no smoking, not bringing flammable and explosive items, protecting the environment in the scenic area, not capturing animals, and obeying the rules of the staff.
