Introduction
Gesala is an important part of the officially designated "Pancxi Sunshine Ecotourism Area" by the Sichuan Provincial Government, and a key point in the construction of the "Hongge-Gesala" 100-mile ecological corridor proposed by the city of Panzhihua in Sichuan Province. As the second eco-tourism brand that Sichuan Province is striving to create, Gesala Ecotourism Area is located in Gesala Township in the northwest of Yanbian County, Panzhihua City, at the junction of Sichuan and Yunnan provinces. It is adjacent to Guosheng Township in Yanbian County to the south, and borders with Huaping County in Lijiang City, Yunnan Province to the south and west, and with Yanyuan County in Liangshan Prefecture to the north.
