Introduction

Jingpo Lake, which was formed by a volcanic eruption thousands of years ago, is the largest scenic area of a high-altitude dammed lake in China and the second largest in the world. The scenic area can be divided into three areas: the main area of Jingpo Lake, Jingpo Gorge, and the underground forest in the volcano. Along the two sides of the lake shore are natural attractions such as the "eight scenic spots". The most famous attraction in Jingpo Lake is the Disuolou Waterfall. During the summer, the lake water rages and tourists can also watch China's cliff diving champion Di Huanran's diving performance.
