Introduction

Guangyun Mian Temple, also known as "Xuetang Mian Temple", was built in the Qing Dynasty as a small Buddhist building. It is located on the north side of Mengdong Street in Cangyuan County, Yunnan Province, covering an area of 2200 square meters and consisting of a main hall and a temple gate, adopting a building style combining a triple eave and a square pavilion. The residence hall is 14.8 meters wide and 24.4 meters deep, ingeniously constructed with a structure using interlocking wooden frames. The pavilion is also intricately carved with lifelike curled dragons around the pillars. The murals inside the temple are very exquisite and well-preserved, depicting Buddhist teachings and natural scenery. The whole temple is a fusion of Han-style architecture and Dai ethnic style, with a unique style, and is an important cultural heritage. It has been listed as a national key cultural relic for protection.
