Introduction

The Ancient Battlefield - Red Cliff of the Three Kingdoms, is located on the south bank of the middle reaches of the Yangtze River, north of Wuhan and south of Yueyang. Its location is excellent and transportation is convenient. It is a national AAAA scenic spot, a national key cultural relic protection unit, a national primary and secondary school students' study and practice education base, a Hubei province primary and secondary school students' practice education camp, a Hubei province patriotism education base, and a Hubei province cultural industry demonstration base. It is the only remaining original ancient battlefield site among the seven major battles in ancient China where "the few win over the many and the weak win over the strong". It carries the immortal memory of people's three kingdoms history. The scenic spot perfectly integrates the ancient battlefield site with the Han dynasty-style architecture group, with natural curves and turns, without artificial intervention. The characters "Red Cliff" on the cliff stone carvings instantly transport you back to the war scene of strategic wisdom that is still inspiring today. Zhou Yu's statue stands proud against the Yangtze River, with a great ambition to direct the country like a painting. On the Baifeng Terrace, the feather fan gently sways, presenting a new pattern of the three kingdoms standing together. Under the Phoenix Nest Temple, towering ginkgo trees, Zhuge Liang took his ingenious loop strategy and hid away... Red Cliff Mountain, Nanping Mountain, Jinluan Mountain, Baifeng Terrace, Phoenix Nest Temple, Yijiang Pavilion and other scenic spots deeply imprint the thrilling war scenes and heroic posture.
