Introduction
The Dahong Mountain Scenic Area is located about 65 kilometers from Suizhou City, with a geographical advantage as the center of the Central Plains and the gateway to the Jianghan Plain. The main peak has an altitude of about 1636 meters and is known as the "number one peak in the northern sky of Chu". The mountain range extends from Suizhou, Yicheng, Zaoyang, Zhongxiang, and Jingshan counties from west to east, and is located in a limestone geological zone with numerous caves. The open caves around the main peak Baozhu Peak include Xianren Cave, Shuangmen Cave, Huangyan Cave, Liangwang Cave, Xiaoquan Cave, and Ehuang Cave. The caves are full of stalactites in various shapes, which are very spectacular. Among them, the "Lotus Tower" in Shuangmen Cave is about 30 meters high, and the tower scenery is diverse, which can be called a wonder of the world; Xianren Cave has several spacious halls that can accommodate tens of thousands of people.
