Introduction

·Gahai Lake is the largest freshwater lake in the Gannan region and one of the important wetlands in the eastern Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, known as a pearl on the plateau. ·The lake is covered with dense aquatic plants, providing habitat and breeding grounds for numerous rare bird species, including black-necked cranes and swans. ·The lake area is vast, with the scenic part located on the north side. Although the lake can be seen from other places, it is difficult to get close to it. ·From June to September each year, the lake is surrounded by various colors of wildflowers, creating a magnificent scenery and also serving as a sanctuary for bird watchers.
