Introduction

Sangke Grassland is a natural pasture for Tibetans. It is rich in water and grass, and in summer the greenery is lush. Under the blue sky, herds of cattle and sheep present a natural pastoral landscape. The main activity for tourists on the grassland is to participate in Tibetan House Festival activities, taste Tibetan cuisine such as milk, yogurt, hand-torn mutton, and barley flour cake, and participate in traditional festival celebrations such as bonfire parties and Guozhuang dance. The horse racing festival held on the 13th day of the seventh lunar month each year is particularly famous. Herders from seven tribes gather here, and the tent camps are like clouds. People celebrate together, making the scene very lively.
