Introduction

The Xiguan Mosque in Lanzhou, also known as the "Guest Mosque," was built in the name of Muslim merchants and is located at the western end of Xiguan Street in Lanzhou City (at the intersection of Linxia Road and the five main roads), built in either the Hongwu or Yongle years of the Ming Dynasty. The original temple was destroyed during the "Cultural Revolution," and the current mosque was rebuilt in 1986. The mosque has a grand and solemn architectural style, full of rich Arab Islamic architectural features. It consists of four floors, including a prayer hall, offices, and lecture halls, and can accommodate more than 3,000 people. Additionally, the mosque includes facilities such as a library, broadcasting room, and rest areas. The mosque also trains many Islamic scholars and receives over 100 foreign Muslim visitors every year for worship and visits.
