Introduction

The Wanmingjiang Bridge, located in the city of Wanding, is an important boundary bridge between China and Myanmar over the river, and also an important channel for trade and cultural exchanges between the two countries. The Wanmingjiang Bridge has played a significant role in China's resistance war and diplomacy, and therefore enjoys a high reputation both at home and abroad. As the gateway to the southwest region of China, the Wanmingjiang Bridge is the ultimate endpoint of National Highway 320, the key to the Burma Road, and the link between the China-India Highway. From Kunming to Shanghai, from Lashio to Yangon, the Wanmingjiang Bridge connects these places together and can also reach India by tracing back to the northwest.
