Introduction

Yinjing and Mangxiu are a Dai village that spans the China-Myanmar border, located just 10 kilometers from the city center of Ruili. One side of the village is in China, while the other side is in Myanmar. There are many scenic spots in the village, such as a shared well and swing set. The "one swing, two countries" swing is located next to the border line, and with just a gentle swing, one can instantly "enter" Myanmar's Mangxiu village. Due to the lack of natural barriers at the border, Chinese vine plants climb onto Myanmar's bamboo fences, and Myanmar's hens lay eggs in the homes of Chinese residents, all of which have become commonplace. The people in the village share the same language and customs, walk the same path, drink from the same well, participate in markets together, live in harmony, and pass down these traditions from generation to generation, becoming a cherished tale that is still told today.
