Introduction
Jielejinta, also known as Guangmu Hema in the Dai language, is located 5 kilometers northeast of Ruili City in Yunnan Province and is the oldest Buddhist structure and ritual site in the region. Built in the 17th century, Jielejinta is a group of 17 towers with gold-plated porcelain tiles. The main tower is 39.5 meters high, with a cylindrical body and a cone-shaped top adorned with an electro-aluminum parasol and a wind vane, as well as hundreds of wind chimes. The tower base is made of bluestone and the entire tower group is made of reinforced concrete. Jielejinta is not only the center of faith for surrounding villages but also attracts Burmese Dai to worship. During Buddhist events, worshippers often walk barefoot to pay their respects. The entire tower group is glittering and magnificent, shining like stars in the sky, passing on ancient culture and faith to people.
