Introduction

The Ling Peak at the east gate of Mount Yandang is the essence of this mountain and is known as one of the "Three Wonders of Yandang" along with the Ling Rock and the Dragon Pond. Although the size of the scenic area is not huge, there are many attractions. Among them, the Hezhang Peak, one of the representative landscapes, has the Guanyin Cave and the Nine-layered Dangerous Tower, with a clever architectural plan. The scenic area is characterized by strange peaks and caves, and the night scenery of the Ling Peak is a fantastic scene where the outlines of many peaks such as the Hezhang Peak, the Double Bamboo Shoot Peak and the Rhinoceros Peak intertwine and blend in the night sky, presenting various changes. Please note that the tickets for the day and night views of the Ling Peak are separate. However, as long as you follow the directional signs and visit the scenic area, you will explore every attraction without missing any.

Transportation

The Lingfeng Scenic Area is located within the YanDangShan Scenic Area and can be reached by mini-bus or on foot. During peak season, there are green mini-buses available to reach the main attractions in the scenic area ("Er Ling Yi Long"), which will start when there are at least 10 people. If visiting during the off-season when there are fewer tourists, the buses may not operate according to the fare schedule (as the fare may not cover the driver's tunnel and parking fees). In this case, hiring a private car is the best option, which can cost around 80-100 yuan for an afternoon and at least 200 yuan for a whole day. Follow the signposts and it takes about a 20-minute walk to reach Xianglingtou Town.
