Introduction

Tengchong Volcanic Park is one of the four major volcanic groups in China, with 97 volcanic bodies and several lava plateaus. It is the best place to explore volcanic landforms. The park's large-scale landscapes, including volcanic cones, volcanic lava caves, lava rocks, volcanic lakes, dammed waterfalls, and columnar joints, are concentrated and perfectly preserved. As you enter the park, you will see a small museum showcasing the formation and structure of volcanoes. In addition, the park also features several attractions such as Dakuanshan, Xiaokongshan, Heikongshan, columnar joints, and Muyu River. Visitors can also take a hot air balloon ride to enjoy a unique visual experience of the entire volcanic area.

Last admission time: 17:00 (Monday-Sunday, January 1-December 31) Note: People with acrophobia and disabilities are not allowed to ride hot air balloons. Children with a height of 1.2 meters or below need to pay 200 yuan for hot air balloon rides (measured on site).
