Shaxi Ancient Town, Preserved Tranquility of Ancient Charm
4.9
Introduction
Shaxi used to play an important role on the ancient Tea Horse Road, but with the passage of time, it has gradually been forgotten by people. However, this has also helped to better preserve the traditional characteristics of the Tea Horse town back then.
Today, the ancient town still retains historical landmarks such as the ancient theater, Yu Jin Bridge, Xingjiao Temple, and more. Of particular note is the Xingjiao Temple, which is currently the most complete and representative Buddhist tantric "Azhali" temple in China.
