Introduction

Windmill Island is a peninsula surrounded by seawater. There are three natural villages on the island, among which Shigongliao Village is mistakenly called Windmill Island by outsiders and wedding photography studios. There is a wind power station on the island, with many snow-white windmills erected on it. Some windmills stand alone on the open beach, surrounded by green pavilions. The white windmills are set off against the azure sky, creating a Greek Aegean Sea atmosphere.

Transportation

Shanwei City can be reached by taking a bus from the city area, which takes about 40 minutes, or by taking a taxi in the city area. In Honghai Bay, you can take a motorcycle taxi, which costs around 35-40 yuan and takes about 20 minutes. For those driving, take Honghai Bay Avenue and drive for about 5 kilometers in the return direction. When you see the "Shi Gong Liao" road sign, turn right and continue on a cross-sea road for another 5 kilometers to reach the destination.
