Introduction
Shuangweng City ruins, also known as Dongmen ruins, is located in the eastern part of the historical East Gate Street, and was built in the mid-Tang Dynasty. It has undergone repairs and renovations of city gates and walls in various dynasties. Visitors can pass through the door of the city and observe the Tang and Song dynasty city wall ruins below through the glass floor. The city tower is designed as an exhibition hall, displaying the cultural history of Yangzhou and East Gate Street. Visitors can climb the city tower and see the ancient Dongmen ferry arch to the east and the continuous ancient buildings with green bricks and gray tiles on both sides of East Gate Street to the west, extending into the distance. Transportation Take bus routes 25, 44, 45, 61, or 210 to Dongguan Gudu Station, and walk from there.
