Introduction

-The Grand Canal, which connects the north and south, is the longest artificial canal in China and an important transportation hub for cultural exchange. -The section in Yangzhou is the oldest part of the Grand Canal. The water is clear and the scenery along the bank is charming. Ancient relics and traditional culture can be seen everywhere. -At night, you can take a stroll along the riverbank and enjoy the brilliant night view. Walking from Dongguan Ancient Street, you can reach this spectacular canal.

Transportation
Self-drive: Take the Shanghai-Nanjing Expressway/G312 and enter the G42. Continue along the G42 in the direction of Wuxi/Beijing/Jiangyin Bridge/G2, then turn slightly to the right to enter the G2 and continue in the direction of Taizhou/Nanjing/Beijing/G2. Keep driving along the G2 and head towards Yangzhou/Nanjing/G40, then turn slightly to the right to enter the G40. Continue along the G40 and, after passing Xiaozhuzhuang, take the exit for Yangzhou (East) and drive along Wenchang Dong Road. Turn slightly to the right to enter Wenchang Zhong Road and continue along it. Turn right at Jiefang Bridge to enter Taizhou Road and drive along it until you reach your destination (on the right side of the road).
