Introduction

Every exhibit in this folk carving museum is a antique carving from folk culture. Mr. Feng Wenxuan, who lives in a hutong near the museum and is passionate about ancient Chinese culture, particularly admires the three gatehouses in the hall, which are respectively a brick carving gatehouse from Shanxi, a wood carving gatehouse from Beijing, and a wood carving gatehouse from Jiangxi. The three uniquely-styled architecture are displayed in one exhibition space, each showcasing their own unique charm.
