Introduction

The Gingko Village is located in Tengchong County, Yunnan Province, with over 3,000 gingko trees scattered throughout the local farmhouses, making it a popular tourist destination in autumn. The shadow puppet culture here has a history of over 600 years, and its Xinyang paper umbrellas and Jiangdong embroidery are famous throughout the country. In addition, Gingko Village was also one of the filming locations for the movie "Wuxia." The best time to admire the gingko trees is from mid-November to early December. There are many farmhouse inns in the village, and visitors can visit each one even if it's just for taking photos or as a memento. The Gingko Village is divided into four areas, with the first area being Chenjia Village. Walking forward from the gingko square at the three-way intersection at the village entrance, this is the most densely populated area for tourists and gingko trees, while the other areas are relatively quieter. Accommodation demands are high during the viewing season in Gingko Village, so early reservations are necessary. If you're worried about missing the viewing season, you can also contact local guesthouses in advance to get the latest information.
