Introduction
In June 1998, the legendary life of the sacred tree of Alishan came to an end in a natural way of falling down. And on the vacant land that it left behind, a giant wooden boardwalk was built, becoming a new landscape. Currently, the giant wooden boardwalk in the Alishan Forest Amusement Park is divided into two phases. The first phase starts with the thousand-year-old cypresses, using elevated wooden boardwalks and ecological methods, and using point-like concrete foundations until the sacred tree site is reached.
