Introduction

Ortisei is one of the busiest towns in the Dolomites, with many family hotels. There are many students commuting between Bolzano, Bressanone, and Ortisei every day, making the town lively. Some family hotels offer hot springs, and there are real cows and goats nearby, making it vibrant. The town has a children's playground, perfect for sunbathing. On the way to the town of Christina, there is a charming little church (recommended by the tourist center). In addition, there is a relatively large church near St. Anthony Square, next to the tourist information center. Hiking is the main activity in the summer, with the recommended route being puze, which can be walked all the way to the exposed rock top. In winter, it becomes a ski paradise, with a ski school near the town center. The slope here is very exciting. There are cable cars and shuttle buses between the valley and the peaks.
