Introduction

Chocolate Hills is a natural wonder located near Carmen on the island of Bohol. It was a famous filming location for the movie "Harry Potter," where Harry Potter was seen flying on a broomstick over the top of the hills. Visitors can rent large broomsticks for photo opportunities and to strike a pose on top of the hills. Chocolate Hills is composed of 1,268 hills with heights ranging between 40 and 120 meters above sea level. During the dry season (February to May), the grass on the hills turns brown, forming a golden landscape that resembles chocolates, hence the name. During the rest of the year, the hills are covered in lush greenery, providing a breathtaking view from the top of the hills. Visitors can enjoy the magnificent view of the entire site from the viewing deck at the visitor center.

Buses to Carmen depart from the Tabilaran Bus Terminal every hour from 6:00 to 21:00. The fare is around 40 pesos per person. After arriving, take a Tricycle to Chocolate Hills for around 30 pesos per person.
