Virgin Island, A fleeting paradise with a crescent moon beach

The island and the sea are both very beautiful
4.5

Introduction

Virgin Island is a beautiful uninhabited island near Mint Island. It has a long and winding crescent-shaped beach that looks like the train of a bride's wedding dress, presenting itself completely on the surface of the water when the tide ebbs. The seawater is clear and bright with distinct colors. In the morning and noon when the tide recedes, tourists can climb onto the island and enjoy a romantic beach. However, it is important to note that outside the sandbank of the island lies a seabed filled with dense seaweed and lots of sea urchins, making it difficult to wade through the waves. Tourists can taste fresh sea urchins caught by local fishermen. In the evening and when the tide rises, the island will be submerged and only the vegetation will be visible, turning it into a fairy tale world in the sea.
Transportation
Departing from Alona Beach, charter a boat to do three activities, including dolphin watching, snorkeling at Balicasag Island, and island hopping at Virgin Island, for 1600 pesos/boat, which can accommodate 6-8 people. These three activities can be booked through a travel agency or arranged directly with a private boat at the beach in the morning.
