Introduction

Oraison is a thousand-year-old quaint town located between the famous lavender city of Sault, the Papal city of Avignon, and the wine city of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, in Provence. It is home to the ancient Roman theater Théâtre Antique and triumphal arch, which have become symbols of the town and are listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Every Thursday, there is a traditional Provencal market, and in July and August, an opera festival (Les Chorégies) is held. Additionally, there is a medieval festival (Fête Médiévale) in June, but it was canceled this year. Welcome to Oraison, where you can experience unique Provencal culture.
