Introduction

Bicheno is a fishing port located in the center of the eastern coastal road. It is close to the Freycinet National Park and is a good overnight stop when driving along the east coast from Launceston or Hobart. The most popular activities in the area are watching the blue penguins return to their nests and the blowhole, which produces a spray of water due to the special rock structure on the shore.
