Introduction
Ohrid Lake is located on the border of the Republic of Macedonia and Albania, and is the second largest lake in the Balkans. It is 30 kilometers long, with an average width of 12 kilometers and a maximum width of 15 kilometers, with a total area of 365 square kilometers. The lake is located at an altitude of 695 meters and is relatively deep, with a maximum depth of 286 meters. Ohrid Lake is mainly supplied by underground water and mountain streams, so the water level does not change much. The lake is surrounded by mountains, and the shore is steep, with beautiful scenery, and it is often used as a leisure and vacation destination by local people and international tourists.
