Introduction
Located in southern Jordan, the Petra Monastery is a spectacular building that requires a climb to reach and is larger and more impressive than the famous site of the Temple of Khasneh. Carved into a large rock mountain, the entire monastery is accessed by steps that reach heights of up to 2 meters.
