Introduction
Juraj Meliš created a popular sculpture that is one of the treasures of Bratislava. The sculpture depicts a French soldier who, while traveling with Napoleon's army, got lost and was forced to stay in Slovakia. The sculpture is located in the center of Bratislava and serves multiple purposes, as it can be visited as part of the Roland Fountain and also serves as a landmark for the French Embassy.
