Introduction

Upsala Glacier is the longest glacier in South America, with a surface area of 595 square kilometers and a length of 60 kilometers. When the massive glacier moves, it rubs against the rocky walls on both sides, leaving black marks on the rocks that look like tire tracks from a distance. These marks create a sharp contrast with the blue and white patterns commonly found on other glaciers.
