Introduction

In the bear ranch near the entrance of the Showa Shinzan Ropeway in Hokkaido, there are over 100 purebred Hokkaido brown bears. These brown bears are the largest wild mammals in Hokkaido, and visitors can feed them in the bear ranch. When they see food, these brown bears will stand up and wave at the visitors, showing their cute and lovely appearance, which is very adorable.

Transportation
Take a bus from Lake Toya Onsen Bus Terminal to Showashinzan Station, which takes about 15 minutes. The service is not available during the winter.
