Introduction

Mt. Youzhu Volcanic Eruption Memorial Park is located west of the hot spring town. It is a great place for a leisurely walk and relaxation. The park features artificial landscapes such as lawns, sculpture landscapes and public restrooms, making it a perfect place for visitors to stroll around and enjoy the beauty of nature.

Transportation

Starting from the bus hub in front of JR Sapporo Station, take the Donan Bus to Lake Toya Onsen and get off. Walk west along the lake for 2 minutes. Alternatively, from JR Sapporo Station, take the JR Hokkaido express train to Toyako Station and get off. Transfer to a bus at the Toyako Station bus stop in front of the station, and go to the Lake Toya Onsen bus station (Toyako Lake Onsen Bus Terminal). Walk west along the lake for 2 minutes to arrive.
