Introduction
Cimu Bridge is a beautiful red bridge situated 3 kilometers east of Tianxiang on the Trans-Central Highway. It is built at the confluence of Liwu River and Laoxi River, with marble railings that give it a unique appearance. To the east of the bridge, one can see vast areas of basalt canyon, while to the west, there are more open sights. This cable-stayed steel bridge is 136 meters long and 9.9 meters wide, with a pair of white stone lions at both ends of the bridge. On the eastern side of the bridge, there is a pavilion called "Cimu Pavilion," built by Chiang Kai-shek to memorialize his mother, Madame Wang. On the Green Frog Stone beside the bridge, there is an engraving of "Lanting," resembling a frog with a crown on its head, built by Chiang Ching-kuo to honor his mother.
