Introduction

The South Gate of Hengchun Town is a must-visit attraction and a part of Hengchun Ancient City. The people in southern Taiwan are honest and simple, and Hengchun Ancient City has gained much attention due to multiple scenes from the movie "Cape No.7", such as "Akira's House", "Hengchun Post Office", and "Hengchun Old Street". It is a place worth savoring. Originally named Langqiao, Hengchun Ancient City was renamed "Hengchun" by the Qing Dynasty due to its pleasant climate throughout the year. The ancient city is well-preserved and has been listed as a second-level historical site in Taiwan. The four city gates form a circle that is perfect for tourism. Tourists can start from the West Gate, walk to Tianhou Temple, Monkey Cave Mountain, South Gate, and then turn to the East Gate to enjoy a panoramic view of Hengchun Town. In addition, the famous filming location of "Cape No.7", the White House, is also located here, but admission requires a ticket.
