Introduction
Guanshan is located in the southwest of Hengchun Peninsula, Pingtung County, Taiwan. Originally named "Gaoshanyan", it has a high altitude and a broad field of vision. From the top of the mountain, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the entire coastline of Hongzhiheng. Because of its high position, it is an excellent place to watch the sunset. When the sun sets in the west, there are silk-like rays of light on the sea surface, which are reflected by the coral reef landscape, presenting a magnificent scene. Therefore, it is called "Guanshan Sunset" and is one of the eight scenic spots in southern Taiwan. If you want to enjoy the panoramic view of Guanshan Sunset, the best place is the two-story pavilion next to Fude Temple, where you can stand on top and enjoy the wide field of vision.
