Introduction

The Temple of Artemis was one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. Initially, the temple was more magnificent than the Temple of Olympian Zeus in Athens, with 127 columns, each with carved designs at the base. Unfortunately, in 356 BC, the temple was burned down by Herostratus. Today, only one column remains, leaving people with a sense of regret.
