Introduction

The main remains at the site date back to the Roman Empire period (2nd-3rd century AD), including villas belonging to four wealthy families. The floor mosaics of these villas are particularly exquisite, making them one of the main tourist attractions. These ancient ruins were discovered by a farmer during agricultural work and have not yet been fully excavated. In order to protect this historic city, UNESCO has listed it as a World Cultural Heritage site, hoping to preserve these valuable cultural relics as much as possible.
