Introduction

The Kandawgyi Botanical Garden was established in 1915 and is located on the south side of the Kandawgyi Lake, a main road in the city of Myanmar. It has a long history, and many plant species were imported from Kews Garden in the UK by the British colonists. Recently, the trees in the garden are lush and the sunshine is bright, making the air feel particularly fresh. There are not only orchid gardens and rose gardens but also facilities such as birdhouses, greenhouses, butterfly museums, and petrified forest museums. In addition, there is a nearby silk research center. Therefore, it is a garden world that is green all year round and worth visiting.
