Introduction

The Waibaidu Bridge, located at the confluence of Suzhou River and Huangpu River in Shanghai, is a through-truss bridge made of steel structures. As one of the largest steel bridges in downtown Shanghai with a hundred years of history, the Waibaidu Bridge is a witness of the history and culture of old Shanghai. Its appearance can be seen in many old Shanghai TV dramas. To appreciate the entire bridge, one needs to stand from a distance and observe carefully. If you want a more intimate contact with the bridge, you can also enjoy the beautiful scenery on both banks of Suzhou River while standing on the bridge. If you're fortunate enough, you may also see couples leaving their unique wedding photos on the bridge.
