The Waibaidu Bridge, located at the confluence of Suzhou River and Huangpu River in Shanghai, is a through-truss bridge made of steel structures. As one of the largest steel bridges in downtown Shanghai with a hundred years of history, the Waibaidu Bridge is a witness of the history and culture of old Shanghai. Its appearance can be seen in many old Shanghai TV dramas. To appreciate the entire bridge, one needs to stand from a distance and observe carefully. If you want a more intimate contact with the bridge, you can also enjoy the beautiful scenery on both banks of Suzhou River while standing on the bridge.
